I am an Artist, Maker and Sound Explorer.
After graduating in Time-based Media (sound art installation) I spent many years working in audio post-production and the BBC sound archive. Life changed direction when I travelled to Peru and volunteered as an art tutor at a Special Needs school. I loved this work so much that when I came back to the UK I worked in SEND in schools and I am currently an Associate Artist at MK Gallery on their Inclusive Practice in the Arts programme. In 2018 I gained a BSc Psychology degree and have worked as an Art Tutor for Arts for Health, Milton Keynes.
Making has always been part of my life, I come from a long line of maternal makers. Mixing making and sound is where I’m happiest.
Being a freelance artist is a big creative melting pot of all the things I love – sound, making and and helping others to explore their own creativity!
